  Pie in the Sky with Mama's Kitchen
Mama's Kitchen was established in 1990 to serve people with AIDS and cancer in the San Diego community with nutritional support by way of a home delivered meal service. Executive Director Alberto Cortes joins Shelley Anderson to talk about their upcoming Pie in the Sky event as well as how the organization has grown and evolved over the past twenty years.

April 4, 2014: People Helping People
People Helping People (PHP) is dedicated to improving the lives of men, women and children in the Santa Ynez Valley of California by addressing emergency and basic needs and furnishing comprehensive integrated family and individual support services. Dean Palius, CEO from PHP joins Shelley for the hour to discuss why giving back to the community is good for your health!

Join Shelley for the hour as she explores the creative world of Kait Matthews one of the co-founders of Art Beat on Main Street. This dynamic woman opened her own gallery in San Diego’s North County 2 years ago to great success, and she will talk about her journey, and how anyone can make their dreams come true. Louise Hay will be showcasing her original art work all month at the gallery.

 December 6, 2013: A Look Back on a Year of Giving
In December, Shelley Anderson takes a look back at some of the past year’s shows. Charities revisited include the Performing Animal Welfare Society and Bobbi and the Strays; Hay House author David Hamilton talks about why kindness matters; and the music of singer/songwriter Karl Anthony is featured.
